Chia in the morning or desert

Love Chia - easy breakfast



1 cup full fat coconut milk

1 banana, mashed

3 tbsp chia seeds

1/2 tsp vanilla

dash of cinnamon


3 tbsp raw almonds or other raw nut, chopped and soaked

2 tsp coconut flakes

1 tsp chia seeds

pinch of cinnamon



Mash banana in a bowl, stir in chia seeds, coconut milk, vanilla and cinnamon. Combine evenly. Cover bowl and place in fridge overnight or at least 4 hours to thicken. The mixture will become like pudding in consistency. For the toppings, combine drained nuts, coconut flakes, chia seeds and cinnamon in bowl and serve on top of chia pudding.


I made the bowl look pretty and added a zing of sharpness by using strawberries and a sprinkle of home made granola (that recipe will come soon)
