Since you are in Uganda you might want to add on a safari to the end or beginning of your yoga Teacher Trainning.
www.tia-adventures.com specialises in tailor made itineraries but sample itineraries that might interest you are described below. The beginning of November is Lamu Wellness Festival in Lamu, Kenya. You could tie in a yoga festival at the beach before traveling in for the November Shakti Womens Empowerment Yoga teacher training. If you decide to do a safari after the yoga teacher training in November you are just 3 hours away from where the gorillas live. So you will reduce the hours spent on the road traveling. Please note the gorilla permits in December are not on special offer only in April, May and November. Gorilla permits are limited. If you know you want to trek gorilla please be sure to inform us asap so we can guarantee your spot on the hike

Pick up in Jinja, Kampala or Entebbe and travel through some of Ugandas most beautiful scenery into the South Western corner. Pass through the Queen Elizabeth National Park and if you get lucky spot elephant, water buck, Kob or baboon. Arrive in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest that evening

Lamu Yoga Festival
8th - 12 th March 2017 and the November wellness Festival is the beginning of November (Dates to be confirmed)
The heart of the festival is based in Shela in four beautiful, cool and peaceful yoga studios. The festival encompasses Manda and Lamu so the whole area is abuzz with the spirit of yoga.
A variÂety of yoga classes and medÂiÂtaÂtions will be on offer throughout the four day festival for all abilities to participate in. From early birds yoga on the beach to meditating under the moon, the festival has something for everyone. HighÂlights include a dhow sail, workÂshops, fun comÂpeÂtiÂtions, and a grand finale beach party with Lamu drumÂmers and acrobats.
